How quickly do you fufill my order?
We do our best to get your order out quickly however it may take several business days to pick, pack and despatch depending on our volume and the day of the week the order was received.
The speed of delivery depends on a number of factors, some of which are out of our control, such as the varying time the carriers take to deliver. So, please be patient. The warehouse staff are very keen and strive to achieve a quick turn-around of orders - at very busy times we may very occasionally need our full 28 days.
Your deliveries
We have local couriers who operate between 07.30am and 9pm to provide deliveries at a more convenient time. If your courier has called and you are not at home, you simply call the telephone number left on the “Sorry I missed you” card to arrange a re-delivery directly with the courier at a mutually agreeable time. They will also try a neighbour, if you’re not at home.
How do I keep track of my order history?
Logon to our website and go to the My Account screen. You can check the status of your previous orders any time by clicking the "My Account" link on the left navigation bar of each page. Proceed to the Account Maintenance page to view your orders and to get other account information. From there you will be able to change your password to one which is memorable and which only you will know. You can also change your billing and shipping addresses as well as email address and telephone numbers.
Postage and Packing Charges
Books are of such a heavy weight that the carriers charge accordingly. Bibliophile has deliberately always subsidised all transportation costs.
How much do you charge for delivery?
We charge only £4.50 per order to mainland UK customers for any number of books in the order.
Send for no extra charge to flat rate to a separate address. Paperwork enclosed will have no prices (gift giving) and you receive a receipt note by post.
72hr Priority delivery (from despatch of the order) within mainland UK is also available at £11 per order.
Eire £10 per parcel to cover actual carriage charges, taxes and documentation. Daily collection. 3-7 day service.

We have always charged less for postage than the actual cost for us.
What is your returns policy?
At Bibliophile we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us so we make our returns policy simple. Our "no quibbles" guarantee means that if for any reason you are unhappy with what you have purchased just return it to us in its original condition within 30 days and we will issue a full refund for the price of the item. We will also be happy to refund the delivery charge if the return is a result of our error. We regret we can not accept returns of overseas orders.

In addition to the £4.50 handling charge, please calculate the amount to be paid, depending on the destination country and number of books ordered.
