Recorded in 1978 after the first break up of Planxty, the album was produced and recorded in Dublin and features Christy's brother Barry Moore (Luka Bloom) on guitar and vocals as well as Andy Irvine on mandolin, bouzouki, vocals and more. Also appearing are Noel Hill on concertinas, plus fiddle, Uilleann national bagpipes of Ireland, guitars and cello. The 12 tracks include The Sun Is Burning, Morrissey and the Russian Sailor, The Foxy Devil, Three Reels, Dunlavin Green and John O'Dreams among them. One of the best folk albums ever, and now at a bargain price. Digitally remastered.
