Never seen on BBC TV and a companion to code 95865. In 2013 Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond embarked on what they hoped would be the perfect road trip. It started well and ended, quite frankly, very badly. Unbowed, the Top Gear pair are back driving 500 miles from Venice to the Isle of Capri via Bologna, Siena, Rome, Pompeii, Sorento, and Positano. With a range of fast, beautiful and exciting cars unleashed on glorious roads amongst gorgeous scenery and drenched in Mediterranean sunshine, we roar along with the McLaren 650S and its fellow 200 mile per hour clubber the Lamborghini Huracan. Throw in the mind boggling 900 horsepower hybrid McLaren P1 and you see they mean business. For a blast along the timeless Amalfi coast the duo chose two classic 1960s Alfa Romeos. The Stig rearranges some furniture in a bad way and the Midlands Gastronaut searches for his favourite local food, in the wrong way. For the finale they have the only cars feasible on the isle of Capri, two Ford Capris! As part of their arduous research into perfection, the duo will of course undertake some ridiculous challenges and hilarious stunts. Perfect. Except for the bits that aren't. Always funny.
